Dwelling values continue to hold on reasonably firm with dwelling values edging 0.1% higher over the month of December to 0.3% over the year of 2018. This essentially creating a flat market.

Annual change in dwelling values seen a variety of results from a 3.5% rise across the Western suburbs to a 1.4% decline in Ipswich.

Rising interstate migration should help to support housing demand, along with reasonably healthy levels of housing affordability.
